Repairing Cracked Natural Stone Floor Tiles
Cracking in tiled areas can be caused due to a number of reasons. Most commonly from the bedding beneath the tiles shifting, tiles being laid too close together not allowing for any shifting of the tiles or there not being proper expansion joints in place again not allowing for any movement of the tiles. The cracked areas are first scrubbed clean to remove any inground dirt which tends to highlight cracked areas. The cracked tiles are then repaired using our 2 part epoxy resin which is colour matched to the particular colours & textures of your tiled areas. Once filled the epoxy is then smoothed off level allowing us to achieve the most effective repair for your natural stone tiles.
